Before I decided to go to Knauz Hyundai in Lake Bluff, I did some research online on reviews as well as deals with the other nearby Dealerships. Gurnee Hyundai didn't seem to have any deals, also their reviews on DealerRater did not add up to their reviews on Yelp. I felt the ones on Yelp were more truthful. Gregory Hyundai in Highland Park only had a virtual inventory with inaccurate prices and probably number of listings as well. Knauz was the most professional layout online and when walking into the Showroom I was greeted with eager and friendliness as well as the atmosphere being inviting. This was my first car ever in general. So it was quite an overwhelming experience. Both Al Wagener as well as Sam Hillier - Business Manager - were very friendly and open people who were up to answering any questions I have of had. I didn't feel intimidated and nor was I being rushed in any way. This was my first purchase and it was a pleasant one!

I will HIGHLY recommend CHET NICHOLS as your salesman when going to Knauz Hyundai. Chet is the only genuine car salesman that I have ever met. He knows the in's and out's of each vehicle very well, and when it comes time to the negotiating time, I never felt uncomfortable, pressured or weird. The sales/finance manager is high energy, but is equally descriptive and helpful when it came time to the numbers.

My experience buying a car from Knauz Hyundai was very good, We got there in the afternoon on a Saturday and everything went smoothly and there customer service was second to none. 1. The left rear reflector lamp was cracked and missing part of the lense. The dealership went the extra mile and sent me the lense to my home and paid to have it put in at my local dealership. 2. The car only had one key & one key fob, the dealership went the extra mile again and sent me 2 new key fobs and paid to have them programmed at my local dealership. I was very impressed with the whole experience and there willingness to help me with the labor costs in getting this car fixed up! I would highly recommend buying a new or used car from Knauz Hyundai to anyone in the market.

We had never looked at Hyundais before but a friend had recommended them. We stopped in one evening and met Chet who spent the remainder of the evening showing us two CPO vehicles we were interested in and explaining the differences. He answered all of our questions politely and professionally, many before we had even asked them. We met two more times, once for a test drive and once to finalize the deal. Chet kept in touch by email and phone the entire time. He also saved us some money just for being a Costco member. At the closing, we met with Sam who got us a great rate and explained the extended warranty thoroughly. He handled the finance end quickly and professionally. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience in which I believe we got a good car at a good price. We look forward to a good service relationship Knauz Motors.

I am very very pleased with my service and the pricing offered. I drove from Michigan to get the car because they had the best deals by far. I would go to this dealer again. The reason I gave my overall service a 4, (even though I gave all my individual ratings a 5) is that I feel that I was asked so many times by the dealership to go to the dealer review that it seemed they were working for the review instead of to give me the service they wanted reviewed. I just think that a little less of a push should be made towards having me fill out the dealer review, telling me about the dealer review, making sure I don't forget about the dealer review, giving me little papers to show me where to review, etc. I realize that it is important to your business, but shouldn't be emphasized to the point where it interferes with the actual customer experience.
